How it worksVideo first

Good films.
A little help, well placed.

A filmmaker shares a clear plan. A crew brings useful work. The creator checks each piece and keeps what fits the film.

01 / The brief

Know what you are making.

Each film task points to a frozen version of the plan: the scene, shot, references, expected result and review rules. The brief does not change under your feet.

02 / The pledge

A promise is a plan.

A one-time, weekly or monthly pledge sets a declared app allowance for one film. You allow the creator to assign ready roadmap work within it, without choosing or approving each task. An assignment sets aside task count or quoted credits. Weekly and monthly periods renew in UTC without rollover.

A credit pledge is not a verified balance or a provider spending cap. The optional Higgsfield account link can check a balance; it cannot generate work or spend credits.

03 / The work

Your tools stay yours.

Follow your assigned task in the dashboard. For manual work, download its saved brief, use tools you are allowed to use, and upload the result with notes. Spare Capacity does not make a clip for you.

04 / The review

The creator keeps final cut.

The creator accepts the result, requests a clear revision, or rejects it with feedback. Only real accepted work counts toward film progress. An accepted result in one release does not approve work in a later release.

05 / Rights & credit

Agree before you begin.

Read the film's rights terms and task restrictions. Agree on source material, how the result may be used, and any credit or perk. A creator can offer a credit or perk for a monthly pledge, a useful attempt or accepted work. Rewards are not issued automatically. A pledge does not grant ownership or a financial return.

06 / Accounts & privacy

A public pitch. A private workspace.

Owners choose whether to publish a recruitment page. Crew access needs an invitation or an approved request. Pending work is visible to its author and the owner; accepted work is shared with current project members.

Google signs you into the Studio. It does not grant access to your Drive or share your provider keys with a creator. Linking Higgsfield is a separate choice, limited to profile and balance checks.

07 / The automatic matcher

A workflow test. Clearly marked.

The optional matcher needs both creator and contributor consent. It can reserve a compatible task and send a SIMULATED text result for review. It does not use a video provider, spend credits, or count as creative progress.

08 / Pause or stop

Keep a clear record.

Pause a pledge to stop new creator assignments. Existing manual assignments keep their saved briefs and permitted continuation. Unsubmitted simulated assignments stop when the pledge or matching is paused. Submitted work stays in the review record.

The current pledge policy keeps its original amount, unit and schedule. Pausing or reactivating it does not create a fresh allowance.
